Specialised school nutrition
Work with Optimal Nutrition on tailor-made nutrition projects to raise the profile, understanding and importance of nutrition to your school community.
Whether it’s an audit or review of your current food offering, providing specific CPD for your education, residential and domestic teams around the power of nutrition, delivering a nutrition course to students, or working with stakeholders on practical implementation of your nutrition vision, what is clear is the power of food to support energy, behaviour, sleep, learning and future health for your students and young people.
BANT-registered Optimal Nutrition has worked with education leaders on various projects, to support teachers, kitchen staff, families and carers in their understanding of the role of nutrition for children and adolescents during a period of rapid change and growth. Focussing on the nutritional requirements for this important life stage is vital for current health, and also to establish good food habits for the future. In addition to this, empowering young people to understand the importance of nutrition is also vital, and something that Optimal Nutrition has worked on with course coordinator and DoS.
